Holloway Insurance Agency is a high-performing, two-location State Farm agency based in Birmingham, AL (two offices in Vestavia Hills and Avondale). We're hiring sales reps who understand a simple truth your effort = your income.
We work a 4-day work week — every week. The 5th day is yours. We trade hours for output, and our team consistently delivers.
What this role actually is
You'll be on the phones every day — prospecting, quoting, closing, and helping Alabama families protect what they've built. This is sales. Not customer service with a "sales" label slapped on it.
This is a fully in-office role. We are not hybrid. We are not remote. We sell shoulder-to-shoulder, and we win as a team.
What we're looking for
- A real love for selling — the chase, the close, the chart-topping months
- You can talk to strangers and not flinch
- You've started something, built something, or figured something out on your own
- You want to earn based on what you produce, not just clock hours
- Coachable — you take feedback and turn it into production
- Birmingham metro (this is in-office, every day we're open)
You'll move to the front of the line if you have
- Retail sales experience — jewelry, mattress, furniture, car, gym memberships, mall kiosk, solar door-to-door, anything where you read a customer in 30 seconds and asked for the sale
- 100% commission background — you already understand activity = paycheck. No convincing needed.
- A track record of being a top-3 producer somewhere
What you'll do
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers daily
- Quote Auto, Home, Life, and Health to households across Alabama
- Cross-sell existing clients — your warmest leads
- Hit daily activity targets and weekly production goals
- Study for and obtain your Alabama P&C license within 30 days (we'll help you)
